An ecological home without indoor pollution by chemical treatments of the materials and minimisation of energy consumption. Controlling the microclimate. Use of recyclable materials.

Concept: A quiet home for a family with 3 sons, near the city but far from noise and traffic. The living room is the centre of the home with a bow widow for the sight on the green valley. Bioclimatic rules for exposure and Feng-Shui guide the design. Need gym, hobby room and library.

Materials: Concrete for the frame. Bricks hand-made for the walls. Granite and wood for the floors. Cork for thermo-acoustic insulation (a natural material by bark of cork-tree). All materials are subject to a natural treatment.

Organization: The ground floor houses the living room, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, the kitchen. The upper level houses gym and library. The cellar houses garage and hobby room.
