The Store

The store strives to be not only a shop but also a place that merges Ferrari's history and spirit. It is a place where forms, finishes and materials express the explosive soul of the world of car racing and luxury.

Fluid lines define the shop's simple yet expressive design inspired by Marinetti's futuristic aesthetics. This elegant conceptual futurism is underscored by the sense of movement induced with modern multimedia, creating at once a space that evokes the fluid lines and forceful dynamism of the Ferrari racecar. It is thus that Ferrari's corporate identity is perfectly offset by the design and architectural language selected for the showroom.

The Ferrari Store chain

Massimo Iosa Ghini has been creating a chain of shops selling Ferrari merchandise since the year 2002. The first store was completed at the carmaker's historic headquarters in Maranello, which was followed by shops at Bologna Airport in 2002 and Malpensa Airport in Milan in 2003. The three-storey store in Rome was opened in 2004 and the Shanghai store in 2005. The stores in the city of Milan and at Rome's Fiumicino Airport are in the final stages, and another shop is soon to open at Malpensa Airport. The stores have a minimum of 400 square meters of floor space, as opposed to the 70-80 square meters for shops.
