Words from the architect
The design concept for the Services Centre focuses on the convincing and original capacity of the building to renew the constituent relationship with the surrounding landscape - proposing itself as a new urban site and as a "transtypological" communication device in a suburban area. The intervention is modelled on the landscape via the "four-dimensionality" of the perspective foreshortening and the breaking down of the corner, which have made it possible to simultaneously embrace the unity and review the traditional concept of facade.

The deconstruction of the edifice, through recourse to sloping and diagonal planes, is measured by the tension of the carved out corner entrance. This makes it possible, on the one hand to encapsulate almost the entire complexity of the mechanisms regulating the architectural object, and on the other to transform the inner space delimited by the building into a site to be traversed.
