Words from the architect

Brief: To make the best out of the former structure of the building, be able to make big and spacious apartments and conceive a well crafted and attractive facade.

Concept: To deal with the former structure in a way that spaciousness, natural lightning and views were avalable to all the apartments. On the other hand, to conceive an architectural volume that could settle a gentle dialogue with the sorrounding urban context, which belongs to a historically protected area of the city.

Materials: Natural pierced iron (front and rear facade): to produce an ethereal feeling and to conect the building with the sky. Red paint over stucco: to make a chromatic connection with the sorroundings.

Interior of apartment.

Planning:The lobby; tries to make a flowing transition from the street. Apartments; the main idea was to create spacious and well lit spaces, that could give the user long and unobstructed views of the urban context. Terraces; some of the apartments have a private terrace, which expands the spatial sensation and give a more direct connection with the city.
