Lagoda multifunctional complex, bird's-eye view.

General view.
Words from the architect
The client meant it to be a multifunctional complex and stipulated all the functions required. As the project pilots a typology of a business park ( which is new for Ukraine), the complex should cater for a whole range of services and facilities a person needs during the day. Besides, the project had to be easily accessible and independent in terms of parking.

View from the main road.
The project features towering blocks on the one hand and hole-like atriums piercing the soft wave-like volume on the other, their footprint being the same. The basic concept behind the project is the unity of opposites - the harmony of volume and void, negative and positive, black and while, yin and yang.

Master-plan.
The whole mass and spatial organisation of the complex is composed by separate tower elements and the main «wave»-like volume that houses office function together with all services: restaurant, cafe, day-care centre for children, pharmacy, bank office,fitness-centre, conference hall. All elements of the complex are inter-connected by means of one common diagonal grid, where its axes serve as the main passages for communication, going through public areas of open typology (squares) and public spaces of closed typology (patios).
