Words from the architect

Client's requirement was intimacy, light, and freedom to develop its own functions in the space.

The concept: Perimeter as space, structure as reformulation of tree forest, winning all the surface of the floor plan to garden, two types of circulations, transversal, between technical furniture and perimetral, around inner space, defining a new type of medium and changing space between them. And the game with the inner-outer new space is the living.

Double skin.

Changing and evanescence of the mass. This house changes every hour due to the type of skin material and gives a very light image, floating over the site. Light box.

And third is the sustainable concept, with filters, double skins and crossing ventilation, opening and sliding polycarbonate roof, controlling climate and temperature with great efficience

Filter space.

With a polycarbonate roof, opening and closing it, this space changes from interior to exterior, depending the requirements and seasons. New filter facade, controlling west sun and giving with a new material a new sense of space, liquid, fluid space, ambience, flowing through the inner furniture.

Reflections plays with concept of inner spaces, made by using glass walls.

Metallic concept structure is a tree forest raising the building, as a light wall.

Reflection bath.

A new conception of the technical inner space allows to use its medium spaces as private or public ones, with mobile walls and doors, because all spaces are open, and sliding and mobile doors allows to go through them, using as private - bath, shower, closets - or as free corridors allowing crossing ventilation and views between four facades. Changing conditions of space, changing character of its uses.
