Words from the architect
The client requested a " Bali style" vacation house.
From the client's request we interpreted and designed a "modern Costa Rican tropical" house with a hint of Bali that responds respectfully to local conditions such as topography, views, etc.

Entry vestibule with ocean view.
The materials used are concrete block on reinforced concrete frames, stucco, cultivated woods, drywall and ceramic tiles.

Exterior view of the house from the garden.
The house plan is elongated for natural cross ventilation and to exploit fabulous views of the ocean and the mountains. The plan is rather informal with lots of transparency.
