Words from the Architect

Casa Palacio is Mexico's new, full service luxury home fashions destination. A Three storey circular building with a dramatic glass entrance shows off the unique home environments within. Guests enter on a sleek limestone bridge, over softly rippling pools and fountains. The first floor is a large open rotunda featuring contemporary and casual home environments. Diverse home & lifestyle settings flow smoothly under the dramatic open ceiling with theatrical lighting. Floating walls, armoires and wood screens create movable semi-open backdrops for the ever-changing room displays.

Center rotunda / Atrium.

The overall layout is inspired by a grand contemporary home with a central great room and its radiating zones for elegant dining, sleek kitchen/laundry, residential media room, colorful kid's rooms and relaxing pool patio areas. At the second storey "great room" atrium, escalator pass through tall limestone waterfalls as giant 10' x 10' picture frames enhance beautiful room display windows as if they were paintings. Lighting throughout enhance the spaces with effects ranging from natural to theatrical and from soft residential to dazzling gallery.

Great Room

The upper level features luxury home fashions from the finest designers from around the world. This floor is designed as an elegant main floor of a palatial home with a formal procession of galleries rotundas and promenades. "En suite" living, dining room and bedroom settings fan out from formal boulevards to create totally unique environments by the world's finest luxury home purveyors. A "refreshing spa" setting features the luxury bath linen collection. A beautiful ethereal cloud-like feeling was created for luxury bedding, mattresses and pillows with billowing shears and a softly lighted all white environments.

Housewares.

The dramatic open grid ceiling with theatrical lighting is punctuated by floating architectural panels which are reminiscent of domed and vaulted gallery ceilings in lustrous metal leaf finish. Rich natural stones and woods are used throughout these spaces in both classic and contemporary ways. Arrival points with patterned marble floors are interspersed with wide plank ebony stained wood floors in over-scaled contemporary parquet designs. Stone archways and pearlescent columns define the elegant walkways and entrances that invite guests from one luxury environment to the next. All together this unique collection of environments and luxury home fashions creates an unparallel experience to delight home shopper.
