Exterior view of the Apartment House.

View of the building amidst its context.
The Gradaska apartment house outranks its neighboring constructions in its size, location, shape and spatial organization. An independent building, it provides for twelve customized apartments within it.

The surroundings are reflected off the main building facade.
The apartments are organized across the storeys or between them. The central living area is divided into one and a half or two storeys in each unit. The vertical arrangement of these apartments, which along with the open ground plan and the large glass surfaces exposes the building's metropolitan character, is highlighted. They form a unity which resembles a three-dimensional tetris.

View of entry to the Apartment House.
The facade is made of three different materials: a stone facing, which outlines individual apartments, a combination of reflexive and transparent glass panels which either reflect the surrounding area off the apartment or reveal the interior of the apartment to the surroundings, and a filigree base with ornamentation.

The facade is composed of stone panels, glass and a filigree base.
The facade functions as an interface between the structure and the living character of the metropolitan vertical lofts on one hand, and the almost village-like atmosphere of the area on which the Gradaska apartment house is located.
