The exhibition in Milan
The project rooted in the notion of bringing artists and architects together to work on poetic objects with a strong artistic content as well as a decidedly contemporary design. Each of these designs was then produced in a limited edition of 9 pieces. Architects Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas collaborating with artist Mimmo Paladino, worked with a liberal brief that did not place material or marketing constraints on the designs. As the architects explain, "The guiding force was simply the strong desire of three imaginative spirits to blend their intuition." What results is a diverse range of exhibits that explore an array of materials, functions and sensibilities.
