Words from the designer

"Lucy is a hammock - meant to be fastened upon one tree only. It is perfect for relaxing in the shadow and offers an unusual view into the treetop. (the hammock is) Fastened one-sided to a tree and the other to a metal frame, which is anchored to the ground. Providing necessary stability. In essence, nature is thus made part of the construction.

Diverse seating or lying positions are possible depending on firstly: how high the hammock is fastened (between 130 and 170 cm) and secondly: the distance between the frame and the tree. Lucy enables free soft swaying, like in a regular hammock. Group deck chairs around the same tree and you will discover a place of communication."

Materials and construction

Lucy consists of a bent, powder-coated metal frame, textile mat and a ratch with a belt for fixing it to the trunk. The frame is collapsible and therefore does not require much storage or transporting space. Additionally, two bags can be zipped onto the mat, for short time storage of magazines, cell phone, keys, etc.
