The Product

Fiber architecture stands as Tokujin Yoshioka's new proposal for an architecture of the future. The design stems from the belief that the structure of the future is one that secures strength not by using hard materials, but through the systematical organization of small and light fibers. The idea stems from the principles of Japanese art "Aikido", in which the defender gains strength by diverting forces through his graceful and circular movement.
