The usage of the shelf is intuitive. The files just have to be pulled out or pushed in. Up to three files can be taken from each 'stage' at one time, without destabilizing Drei-mal-Fuenf.
Because 3x5 consists of just four identical boards, production is simple and cost-efficient. Using only one material (MDF), and shipped using minimal packaging (translated: low postage fees) make it an ecologically and economically efficient product.

The aim of Drei-mal-Fuenf is to be neither more nor less than is necessary to store files in an orderly and appropriate way.
