The Product

The BIBI-580 system is inspired by similar philosophies that led to the creation of the Japanese 'tatami' in the East. These can be opened upright into the conventional seat profile or folded close into a cushion. Adapted to both outdoor as well as indoor use, the system offers newer levels of flexibility to humble yet stylish solutions in public seating, for it enriches the space without invading the architecture that accommodates it. Realized in hard plastic for outdoor use, the seats in this model require no maintenance and offer complete ease of use.

The indoor model offers in addition to these the added advantage of being electronically controlled. The control panel can thus raise and lower the backs of the seats, setting them in action individually or collectively. The seating configurations of the public space can thus be customized to specific functional or user requirements. The electronic panel is actively controlled by software developed under exclusive rights by Frau Seat. This model is upholstered in the world famous Frau® Skin. The seating system has found its first installation at the theatre of The Center of Research and Developments in Nardini, Italy.
