Alex Loft Interior

The Alex-loft-interior project is an interesting example of super-positioning of a new idea on a pre-existing set of constraints. It tries redefining the character of an existing interior space through variations in color and form.

Words from the Designer

"The Alex-loft-Interior project was essentially a design that needed to be superimposed on an already existing space. Namely: the loft space. Since this room was full of varied angles that defined the space, I wanted to create an interior design that would somehow weaken the room's sharp angles. It all boiled down to a simple solution: the curved front of the mobile containers and the warm color of the veneer turned out to do the job quite well."
