Team Rijnboutt

Mattijs A. Rijnboutt (1970), Richard Koek (1963), Bart van der Vossen (1969), Frederik Vermeesch (1976), Renee Liefting (1965) and Kees Rijnboutt (1939)

Rijnboutt came into being following a merger between Rijnboutt Van der Vossen Rijnboutt (architecture, urban development and strategy) and CH & Partners (urban development and landscape design).

Rijnboutt designs and advises at every conceivable level of spatial planning. Our designs cover the broadest imaginable scale, from interiors to urban and landscape planning.

Rijnboutt makes a direct correlation between the past, the present and the future. The company's name represents solidity, and the company's vitality is reflected in its logo. We create timeless buildings, places and cities, which are simultaneously robust and contemporary.

Rijnboutt stands for an approach aimed at collaboration. We do not impose ideas on others but rather establish a dialogue with our clients, the environment, the prevailing culture and the inhabitants. We are approachable, versatile and flexible, and our high standard of quality is the result of a collective effort.

Rijnboutt masters all of the disciplines required for addressing spatial issues. We achieve this by working in teams who analyze and study the issues at hand. The latter is therefore determined in both textual and visual terms, which enables us to enter into discussions with the requisite amount of expertise.

Rijnboutt concentrates on assignments in which landscape, city, building, interior and detail converge. Architecture, urban development and landscape create various lines of approach that are the foundation for our design work. Since every task differs, each one requires a unique solution. Our plans rely on analysis, assessment and design.

Rijnboutt believes in the strength of design. Designs are visually powerful and direct the focus of discussions onto ideas. These ideas become tangible and feasible during the design process. Drawing and calculating go hand in hand, from the first sketches to the execution phase.

Rijnboutt promotes involvement. We are able to connect people through a mixture of engagement and experience in our operational processes. When needed, we are able to encourage and cultivate commitment.

Rijnboutt would like to contribute to the beauty of the Netherlands and beyond. Our roots lie in urban areas, but we devote attention and show interest throughout the country.
