Philosophy

Philip Loskant studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) and CEPT Ahmedabad in India. He is Master of Architecture ETH Zurich. Before opening his own architectural firm "Philip Loskant architect ltd. co." in Zurich, Switzerland in 2005, he was working for renown architects such as Peter Eisenman Architects in New York, Barkow Leibinger Architects in Berlin and Zvi Hecker, Berlin.

Since 2005, Philip Loskant architect ltd. co. stands for a seldom found design approach between architectural avant-garde and cultural tradition. Thanks to a familiarity with the architectural tradition of Europe and the Indo-Islamic culture, the company is working on design commissions in Europe and India.

In 2005/06 Philip Loskant was teaching Architectural Design and Urban Planning for the chair of Frank Barkow at the Academy of Fine Arts, Stuttgart, Germany.
