Paul Macht Architects was founded in 1990 to provide architectural design services to clients seeking sustainable, energy efficient and healthy homes and workplaces. Our goal with each new residence, renovation or addition is to create a place that exceeds our client's expectations and enhances a site's inherent beauty. Active and passive solar and natural ventilation strategies, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, sustainable and healthy materials and a tight and well insulated envelope are always considered in our environmentally sensitive designs.

Paul Macht Architects offers a full range of architectural services including site selection and planning, interior design, 3-D rendering, construction documentation and site observation for residential commercial, and medical projects. Our staff's technical knowledge, management skills and creative capabilities enable us to meet our client's needs on projects of wide ranging scope and complexity.

Critical to the success of our projects, is creating a collaborative environment where goals, concerns are shared and expectations are managed. With every project we seek to create innovative solutions that surpass our client's expectations within a framework that meets their budget, program and schedule needs. As part of our commitment to creating projects that are built on time and on budget, we work closely with our clients and contractors at every stage to monitor the alignment of scope, quality, schedule and budget. Partnering with contractors in the early stages of the project to prepare preliminary cost estimates is one of the many ways that we help our client's control the project cost and streamline the design process.

At Paul Macht Architects we celebrate our staff's diverse perspectives and experiences and encourage the participation of every member of the firm in its planning, operating and marketing. Every team member from principal to staff architect is invested in a project through the design, documentation and construction phases with each adding his/her own expertise.
