Philosophy

Ogrydziak/Prillinger Architects (OPA) is a San Francisco-based design studio specialising in progressive modern work. Projects range in scale from multi-unit buildings, to private homes, to interior and furniture design. Each project begins as a response to the specific requirements of client, program and site. Rather than reflecting a predetermined architectural style, the project evolves as an exploration of its own internal formal possibilities. As a result, the work is distinctive for its conceptual clarity and strong visual presence. OPA was established in 2000, although both partners have been in association since 1997.
