Juan Carlos Doblado, born 1963 in Lima, Peru; graduated as an architect from Universidad Ricardo Palma;
He has worked as an independent architect since 1990, with an emphasis on the execution of projects in the fields of architecture, urban planning and interior design.
He is currently a tenured professor of Architectural Design at the Faculty of Architecture at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).
His professional trajectory includes conferences in universities and institutions both in his country and abroad, the publication of specialized books and articles, and frequent distinctions in contests. In 2006 he was chosen by Wallpaper magazine as one of the 25 innovative architects.
He founded ARQUIDEA (1986-1990) jointly with other architects - with whom he has developed works of public relevance and been awarded prizes in numerous contests.
ARQUIDEA work has been published in magazines from Argentina, Colombia, England, Honk Kong, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru.
