Mr. Nitin Killawala (born 1951)

  • Dip. Arch. - AIIA AIID
  • At present he is the President of Institute of Indian Interior Designers.
  • He is also on Academic Council of School of Interior Design - CEPT and KRVI College of Architecture.
  • His work has been featured regularly in professional magazines and periodicals.
  • Practicing as an Architect/Interior Designer after his experience working with Arch. Piloo Modi, he has been honoured with various architecture awards among which are the Excellence in Architecture Award, awarded in I.I.A. in 1989 for TVS Berg Factory at Madurai, in 1991 for Haveli in Gajod, Bhuj and in 1997 for J.K. Architect of the year Award for private residential building.

Mr. Avinash Joshi (born 1948)

  • Dip. Arch. - AIIA AIID
  • Graduated in Architecture in 1971 and worked under Grover - Gupta Associates, Delhi, Chapsey Mistry Bombay and MSECD, Bahrain for a couple of years. Later joined G.K. Vanwari Consultants Pvt. Ltd. As Chief Architect for nearly a decade.
  • Highly experienced in the field of apartment designs and its intricacies.

Mr. Himanshu Upadhyay (born 1948)

  • Dip. Arch. - AIIA AIID
  • Graduated 1974 from Bombay and gained experience at M/s. Architects Combine.
  • Served as Social Worker for nearly a decade while practicing as an Architect and Interior Designer.
  • Main hobbies are photography and documentation of Architectural works.
  • A visiting faculty of Rizvi College of Architecture as well as Member of its Research Cell.

Philosophy

The Group Seven practice revolves around strong belief in simplicity in resolving design solutions. Over the last two decades the group has executed multidisciplinary projects like Resorts to Research Centres, Homes to Housing complexes, Industrial plants to Educational Campuses.

Not attached with any stigma, style or isms, most of the projects are backed up with available technology, good craftsmanship and generous use of colours and forms, which are not only cost effective but more importantly user-friendly
