Frans Willigers
In the past three years, after years of experience at architectural firms, I have been working solely on that which I have most affinity with -- designing furniture.
Besides the piece of furniture as a product, I see furniture as a refinement of architecture.
When designing, spatial qualities and the new applications of existing materials are a priority.
I enjoy working with clients who, in this world of design overkill, want to distinguish themselves with classy, modest designs for furniture.
I see my work as a permanent education; I closely follow developments and contribute to the education of designers. In this way, knowledge and experience are shared and give new impulses to my work.
