DeStefano and Partners, Ltd. was established in 1988 to deliver architectural, planning and interior design services distinguished by design excellence, superior project and technical management, and a total commitment to achieving clients' objectives. As designers, we embrace a modern aesthetic, employing and expressing proven, contemporary technologies with steadfast attention to detail. In professional partnerships with our clients, we strive to fuse art, craft, technology and business to realize distinguished and productive architecture.

Art. Architecture is driven by the creativity and experience of individual talent. Initiated by founding principal James R. DeStefano and continued with the firm's design principals today, the practice brings to each project insight and knowledge gained by its principals in the design and construction of hundreds of buildings and projects throughout the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. For DeStefano and Partners, the art of architecture begins with a firm-wide commitment to design excellence - inspiration, talent and experience in creative focus on client goals.

Craft. To design with expression and elegance, architects must understand and exploit the craft of building. Mastery of materials, processes and practical methods of building - from the ancient to the just emerging - forms the foundation of professionalism and the key to achievement. DeStefano and Partners deeply respect "the way things go together," and brings to each project lessons of craft learned in building around the world.

Technology. The technologies of design, project management and construction are now being reinvented almost continuously. DeStefano and Partners believes that technology - understood and effectively applied - is key to both the expression and practice of architecture. From computer-aided-design to structural innovation to the latest application of "high-tech" materials, we are committed to the practical, innovative application of technology.

Business. Architecture is part art, part craft, and part technology, but is also a business. Today's buildings must satisfy a wider range of demands than ever, from high symbolism at one end of the spectrum to building code and ADA compliance at the other. DeStefano and Partners is in business to satisfy demanding clients and to meet their economic needs.
