Designed by designstudio LUCY.D, Lucy is a hammock that doesn't require the usual two trees for its functioning. Depending on the height at which it is suspended, the hammock provides for various usage possibilities. More
Consisting of a series of five mouth blown glasses, the Scott series of bar glasses explores a multitude of questions related to its end use. Slightly distorted (but not quite), the glasses ring aloud with both: sensitive design and subtle humor. More

Barbara Ambrosz and Karin Stiglmair
Located in Vienna, Austria, designstudio LUCY.D was founded by Karin Stiglmair and Barbara Ambrosz in 2003.
The two designers work in the field of product and furniture design; and develop interiors for exhibitions, shops and restaurants.
"LUCY.D reflects on culture, tradition and the changes within. By combining the old and well-known with actual needs and unusual materials, we try to provide an input on all-day-life.
We create objects that tell new tales. Objects that are irritating and are constantly changing the user's way of looking at things.
The designs are both -- functional and emotional, finding sensible design solutions that never lack a good portion of humor."
