Philosophy
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, CMMI is an integrated design firm with a unique blend of architecture and interior design expertise. Our firm has more than twenty years of experience assisting clients with projects that range from intimate resort lodges to large-scale convention hotels. As a full-service organization, we offer programming, architecture, interior design, and wayfinding design services. Additionally, we are experienced with a variety of delivery approaches, construction applications and sustainable design/LEED® criteria established by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
Our firm focuses exclusively in the design of hotels, resorts, conferencing and ancillary facilities. We have completed over 450 commissions since 1987, the vast majority of which are classified as 'Luxury' or 'Upper Upscale'. Additionally, we have worked with most major flags and hoteliers such as Fairmont, Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Kimpton, Marriott, Omni, Regent, Ritz-Carlton, Starwood and Wyndham.
Our design teams are arranged within five studios of architects and interior designers, experienced with both new properties and renovations. We are organized so that one team carries an assignment through all stages of design, documentation and construction with exceptional continuity of service. Principals and Team Leaders set the functional and aesthetic direction of each project to assure that every design solution meets our clients' expectations.
