Philosophy
Austin Patterson Disston Architects espouses a contextual design approach that seeks to connect the built structure to a broader whole, establishing a dialogue between the structure and those who inhabit it. Working with our clients'design sensibilities, the firm's design process considers and reflects the local vernacular, a larger regional tradition, the surrounding landscape, and the site itself.
The firm includes a staff of 30 professionals, with thirteen registered architects, and eleven draftspersons. Our project expertise includes residential, interiors, institutional, commercial and retail projects.
A focus on service, attention to detail and close contact with clients and contractors enables the firm to meet a project's budgetary and programming parameters and has brought the firm many repeat clients and design awards.
