Arthur Chan

Arthur studied architecture at the University of Hong Kong, graduating with a B Arch in 1990. He later continued his professional training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained a Masters degree in Environmental and Sustainable Design in 2005. In 1995, he founded DPWT design Ltd in Hong Kong with his partners and subsequently established branch offices in Beijing and Shanghai in1999 and 2003.

Arthur has earned a string of competition successes and awards, including:

  • Merit in HKDA 05 Awards (2005),
  • Top 10 Residential Designers in China (2005)
  • Winner of Lee Tung Street Development Concept Competition, Hong Kong (2004)
  • Best dining room design, Home decoration competition (2004)
  • First Prize of the Office Accommodation for Tsuen Wan Vehicle Pound, Tsuen Wan (2000)
  • Final round of Technology Center Phase II design competition, Hong Kong (1998)
  • Winner of Chaoyangmenwai District-D Central Park Design Competition, Beijing (1997)

His works are widely published in London, Italy, Australia, and throughout Asia in Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China and Hong Kong.

He was invited to feature his works in 1000 architects (2003) and 2000 architects (2006) published by Image Publishing Group. Arthur is currently pursuing a masters degree in Fine Arts at RMIT.

Arthur has worked for renowned companies including IBM, Nokia, Siemens, Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, Dell, Golden Harvest, EMC², Oracle, Hewlett-Packed, Jones Lang LaSalle, Coca Cola, Thomson, Canon, Singapore Airline. Kerry Logistics Network Ltd etc.

Works include corporate offices, residential project, exhibition and commercial retails.

He is currently stationed in Beijing and Hong Kong.
