Alessandro Orsini received his degree cum laude in 2002 at RomaTre School of Architecture in Rome.
He moved to New York and in 2004 attended a post-graduate work at the School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, under the direction of Prof. Yehuda Safran, focusing on the continuous changes of the new millennium cities.
In the same year he started a collaboration with Steven Holl Architects where he is currently working as project architect.
In 2003 he started to collect his work under the name Archi[te]nsions, architecture + tensions, working on projects at different scales, from interior design to urban planning and theory.
His research focuses on the relation between architectonic space and the social aspects of the urban fabric in the cities in rapid change.
The firm is a mutual combination of life experience, spatial sensibility and personal interests of multidisciplinary people. Manuela Priori joined the firm becoming key person in every projects.
Mr. Orsini is currently teaching at New Jersey Institute of Technology - School of Architecture.
