3LHD is an interdisciplinary architectural practice, focused on integrating various disciplines - architecture, urban and natural landscapes, design and art. In their work, the architects of 3LHD constantly explore new possibilities of interaction and integration of architecture, society and individuals.

They have a modern architectural approach and resolve all project issues through the knowledge and experience of two dozen permanent employees and through cooperation with many experts.

Their projects, such as

  • the Memorial Bridge in Rijeka,
  • the Croatian Pavilion EXPO 2005 in Japan,
  • the study for Bale/Valle in Istria,
  • Riva in Split, or Hotel Lone in Rovinj
  • and most recently Eastern European Cultural Centre in Xi'an, China

have made them well-known not only among professionals but also amongst the wider public, both at home and abroad.

The work of 3LHD has received several Croatian prizes and some important international awards, including the ar+d Award, a prestigious prize awarded by The Architectural Review (UK), the architectural magazine of global fame; the ID Magazine Award (USA); and Croatian professional awards Bernando Bernardi (2005), Viktor Kovacic (2001) and Vladimir Nazor (1999).
